In May 2020, Lyra teamed up with a coalition of partners to introduce the COVID-19 Education Innovation Fund. The goal? Tackling the significant impact of COVID-19 on Colorado's schools and students while supporting creative learning solutions.

Lyra took the helm, driving the fund's administration and implementation. Over a span of three months, the fund, totaling $335,000, was distributed on a rolling basis to 34 organizations and initiatives. The aim was to foster resilient education systems and encourage fresh approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners post-pandemic.

In addition, a pool of $24,000 was directly provided to 71 Colorado families across the state. This financial assistance aimed to alleviate costs associated with their children's summer learning through the family learning dollars program, skillfully managed by education partner RESCHOOL.
